Description

In this seminar I will give an introduction to models of collective animal behaviour and derive some predictions from such models. These predictions were tested using different biological systems including both human crowds and fish schools. In this context I will explain one of our current projects, the robofish, which is a fish model that is controlled by a computer and designed to interact with live fish. Finally, I will give an outlook on future work using the robofish system to study collective decision-making problems.
