Designing the 21st Century

The goal of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory is to foster intelligence in all its facets by promoting excellence in basic research, education, and society at large. With our activities we hope to contribute – in small ways – to making the world a better place in the 21st century.

To maximize impact, we organize lab tours and seminars for companies, teachers, and their students on a frequent basis, as well as Brown Bag lectures for a wide audience. The AI Lab collaborates with many partners, one of which is maxon motor AG, Switzerland's renowned company powering the mars robots and the AI Lab Ecce-humanoid robots. Read more about the collaboration.
